Artist and military veteran Ron Petitt is well known for his realistic sculpture and attention to detail.
His "AIRBORNE" sculpture stands 14" tall (with walnut base).
The original model was sculpted out of a special wax that captures all the intricate detail.
After the wax model was finished, a silicone mold was made and the max model removed.
Each sculpture is hot cast using the lost wax method, then goes through a complex process of hands-on work by skilled artisans to insure the absolute highest standard of quality.
Each "Airborne"sculpture is truly an American Made original.

Capt. Dale Dye was the motivation behind the creation of the spirit of the "Airborne" Sculpture. As one of Hollywood's most sought after military experts and technical advisors, Capt. Dye's contributions are many. He wrote and acted in the Academy Award winning movie " Platoon", and has been both actor and technical advisor in numerous hit movies such as "Born On The Fourth of July", "Saving Private Ryan", and HBO's mini-series "Band of Brothers". His contributions along with those of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg have reignited America's deep appreciation for our country's military veterans.
